Q Proposal Report Presentations Purpose: Proposal reports are documents that are meant to be accepted or rejected. Most of the time, those requesting a proposal report will ask for a live briefing or presentation of the proposal, with the support of a presentation tool such as Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Emaze. As with any presentation, visuals are necessary. Instructions: Create a narrated PowerPoint (or Google Slide) to present your proposal. Your presentation must be 5-7 minutes long. Your presentation must contain either a Google Slide, or a PowerPoint, and be narrated. It must also contain the following specifics: ? Give a brief overview/background of the issue/problem that you will be addressing: o What is it? o What is some background/history of the problem? o You must also convince your audience (us) that it is, indeed, a problem. o Use an outside source to support one of your claims. ? Tell us your proposal/solution for the problem: o What needs to happen to fix the issue/problem? o How can the solution be enacted? o Provide a clear overview of the scope of your plan--- be realistic, not overambitious. o Tell us if there have been other solutions before yours…if so, why will yours work? If not, why are you taking on this challenge for finding a solution for the issue? o What are the needed resources to complete the work? o Use an outside source to justify your solution. ? What will the impact be (to society / place of business or school / environment) if all goes well? What is the intended outcome of your proposal if accepted?
